Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Roadway Engineer II in Fort Worth, TX to contribute to a wide range of transportation projects. You will assist in producing design calculations, technical reports, and plans using current engineering tools.

The role requires collaborative work with project teams to ensure successful delivery for TxDOT, NTTA, and local clients. The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree with relevant experience and demonstrates proficiency in design software, quality control, and effective

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience.
Master’s degree in Engineering and 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
Responsible for preparation and/or modification for project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
Develops project quantities and assists with development of cost estimates.
Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
Able to self-sufficiently complete various tasks including research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
