Stuart Hose & Pipe Co. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Account Manager to own and grow the Fort Worth territory by building strong customer relationships and expanding our footprint with new accounts. You will manage existing clients, uncover needs, and deliver hose, pipe, and related solutions in real-world applications.

The role requires 2+ years in industrial sales and a mechanically inclined mindset. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, HS Diploma or GED required, with willingness to travel

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial sales experience (hose, pipe, fluid power, or related industries preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (HS Diploma or GED required).
• Mechanically inclined and able to work in industrial environments; self-motivated, organized, and able to travel within the territory.
• Strong communicator who can build credibility with plant managers, maintenance teams, and buyers.

Responsibilities

• Own your territory – manage and grow existing accounts while aggressively developing new business
• Be in front of customers – uncover needs, recommend solutions, and become a trusted partner
• Hunt and grow – source new opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and referrals
• Hit the numbers – meet or exceed revenue and margin goals with the support of experienced leadership
• Sell solutions, not SKUs – recommend hose, pipe, and related products based on real-world applications
• Problem-solve in the field – investigate customer challenges and deliver practical, value-driven solutions
• Stay sharp – keep up with industry trends, products, and best practices
• Collaborate internally – work closely with operations, customer service, and technical teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience
• Stay organized – maintain accurate records, quotes, and customer interactions
