Job summary

Stuart Hose & Pipe Co. in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking an experienced Counter Sales Specialist to assist walk-in and call-in customers, identify the right hose, fittings, and accessories, and coordinate orders from start to finish.

You will fabricate and test assemblies, manage lead times, and work with ERP/ POS systems while standing for long periods in a fast-paced branch environment. This role offers day shifts and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in hydraulic and industrial hose assembly, crimping, and fitting identification.
• Strong knowledge of thread types and hose construction.
• Ability to read calipers and measurement tools accurately.
• Comfortable using ERP/POS software for orders and quotes.
• Able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work safely in a shop.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in customers and take orders, recommending parts.
• Fabricate and assemble hose assemblies per specs and standards.
• Identify thread types and source correct components.
• Enter tickets, quotes, and transfers in ERP; manage stock and lead times.
• Maintain clean, safe showroom and assist with inventory cycles.
