Job summary

Stuart Hose & Pipe, a SunSource company, is the leading hose and pipe distributor in the Southwest with over 70,000 in-stock products. We service markets including Oil & Gas, Petrochem, Industrial, Food & Beverage, Construction, Agriculture and more.

The Sales Director leads the DFW sales team, drives market strategy, and grows their account portfolio. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of outside sales in industrial distribution, strong leadership, and the ability to build customer relationships

Qualifications

• 3-5 years outside sales experience in industrial distribution.
• College degree preferred.
• Mechanically inclined – willing to work in industrial settings.
• Strong leadership and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing a team of sales representatives within the DFW territory.
• Manage a designated territory with existing and potential customers.
• Contact current and prospective customers to solicit business orders.
• Sourcing new sales opportunities through cold calling.
• Develop market strategy.
• Meeting revenue and margin goals as established by Chief Sales Officer.
• Recommend products to customers, based upon customer’s needs and interests.
