Job summary

Stuart Hose & Pipe in Fort Worth is seeking an experienced Counter Sales Specialist to join our team. You will greet walk-in and call-in customers, identify the right hose, fittings, and accessories, and manage orders from start to finish.

You will fabricate assemblies, measure thread types, enter tickets in the ERP, check stock, and support warehouse operations. Strong technical knowledge and hands-on hose assembly experience are required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in hydraulic and industrial hose assembly, crimping, and fitting identification.
• Strong working knowledge of thread types, hose construction, pressure ratings, and fluid conveyance applications.
• Ability to read calipers, thread pitch gauges, tape measures, and crimp spec charts accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in customers, take incoming orders, clarify requirements, and recommend hoses, fittings, adapters, and accessories.
• Fabricate, crimp, cut, and test hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies to customer specs and standards.
• Identify thread types, flange patterns, hose specs, and pressure ratings on sample parts; manage orders from entry to delivery.
