Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering students to join our Fort Myers, Florida office. This internship is not remote and offers exposure to civil and environmental engineering through hands-on work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include using software to analyze and QC client deliverables, contributing to pre-construction design and permitting, and learning programs like AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, GIS, and more to support project goals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters).
• Majors include Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Biosystems, Chemical or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Use technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Assist pre-construction civil design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis.
• Solve problems, support project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
• Learn software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, GIS.
