Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering students to join our Daytona Beach, Florida office for an on-site internship. Interns will use AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, GIS and other tools to analyze, generate, and QC client deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in ABET-accredited engineering program (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
  • Majors include Civil/Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, permitting, and analysis.
  • Solve problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions.
  • Learn regulations and Kimley-Horn practices to support projects.
  • Familiarize with software tools relevant to their discipline (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, GIS, etc.).

Education

ABET accredited engineering degree (civil/environmental, mechanical, biological, biosystems, chemical, agricultural, or engineering technology)
