You'll work with our teams to analyze, produce, and QC client deliverables using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel and related tools, and contribute to civil design, planning, permitting, and analysis on multiple projects. Qualifications

  • Pursuing ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering.
  • Also eligible majors: Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering.
  • Engineering Technology is accepted.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil design, planning, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
  • Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s standards.
  • Interns will learn AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS.
