Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a co-op student for the Fort Mill Plant in Fall 2027. You will work on a defined project, deliver key outcomes, and gain exposure to manufacturing and quality processes in a global tech company.

The role emphasizes documenting parameters, reducing scrap, and improving machinery efficiency while aligning with the Quality Policy. Housing may be available, and the program offers ongoing learning and potential future opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; pursue an academic degree.
• Maintain minimum 2.5 GPA per semester; eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Define and document process parameters.
• Quantify and lead actions needed for scrap reduction.
• Improve effectiveness and efficiency of key machinery in high volume work areas.
• Learn, understand, and adhere to the Quality Policy and Procedures.
• Get insights into Schaeffler's manufacturing, design and processes.
