Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG in Fort Mill, SC invites a Co-Op Student to contribute to process improvement during Spring 2027. You will work on a chartered project and deliver key outcomes at the end of the rotation.

This paid assignment provides exposure to manufacturing, design and quality processes, with housing options available on a best-effort basis and a rate that varies with academic standing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pursuing an academic degree.
• Maintain a 2.5 GPA per semester.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Extremely self-motivated and driven to achieve results.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Co-ops may be invited back in future semesters or summers.
• Temporary housing may be available.
• Hourly rate depends on academic standing.

Responsibilities

• Define and document process parameters.
• Quantify and lead actions needed for scrap reduction.
• Improve effectiveness and efficiency of key machinery in high volume work areas.
• Learn, understand, and adhere to the current Quality Policy and Procedures and contribute to quality objectives.
• Get insights into Schaeffler's manufacturing, design and technological processes.
