Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pursuing an academic degree.
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA per semester.
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Extremely self-motivated and driven to achieve results.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Co-ops may be invited back in future semesters or summers.
  • Temporary housing may be available.

Your Key Responsibilities

The successful co-op student will be provided with a project charter and description during their onboarding process. The co-op will provide key deliverables in their assigned area at the end of their co-op assignment.

Project examples can include but are not limited to:

  • Defineand documentprocess parameters
  • Quantify and lead actions needed for scrap reduction
  • Improve effectiveness and efficiency of key machinery in high volume work areas
  • Learn, understand, and adhere to the current specifications of the Quality Policy and Procedures and contribute to the achievement of quality objectives
  • Get insights into Schaeffler's manufacturing, design and technological processes
Your Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be pursuing an academic degree
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Preferred

  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication ability (written & verbal)
  • Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results
  • Assertive approach to solving problems
  • Ability to prioritize according to given tasks
  • Developmental opportunities through tasks such as projects, job-rotation, hands-on training, and exposure to various processes
  • Co-ops who are earlier in their academic journey and complete a successful rotation may be invited back during other semesters or summers to work with us again

  • Co-op students can be provided with temporary housing based on availability for the duration of their assignments including utilities for a modest fee
  • Hourly rate is dependent on academic standing
