Job summary

TRC is seeking highly motivated Civil Engineering Interns for our Summer 2027 intern program out of our Fort Collins, CO Office. This is a paid full-time position for June through August 2027, with potential to transition into a Full-Time role after graduation.

You will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders, partnering with engineers, scientists, and technologists. Minimum requirements include pursuing a Civil Engineering degree, at least a 3.0 GPA, and strong data

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Excellent data collection, technical writing and communication skills.
• Collaborative, organized, self-motivated, detail orientated person.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Google Earth.
• Honest, fun, hard-working and ready to learn and grow.
• Applicants for this intern role must possess a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of engineering drawings and engineering calculations.
• Support civil engineer design tasks including sheet setup, drafting, and proposal development.
• Support additional tasks as necessary.
