Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Formulator II (2nd Shift) to safely process raw materials and chemicals, monitor batch records, and operate mixing and measurement equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will weigh materials, transfer into tanks, sample products for quality control, and document steps with attention to detail while following SOPs and wearing proper PPE.

Qualifications

• Read and follow batch records, recipes, and production instructions.
• Experience checking balances and measurements to ensure correct amounts of raw materials are added.
• Proficient in measuring, handling chemicals, and operating scales for production.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work around moving equipment with safety.

Responsibilities

• Read batch records and recipes to ensure correct preparation and processing of materials.
• Measure and weigh raw materials using scales and verify quantities meet batch requirements.
• Operate mixing and formulation equipment per established procedures.
• Use cranes and other material-handling equipment to move large bags of chemicals safely into tanks.
• Collect product samples during production and deliver to the lab for QC testing.
• Review and sign off on documentation confirming correct materials and quantities.
• Follow SOPs and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain accurate production records and logs with attention to detail.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear required PPE.
• Collaborate with a small formulation team to meet production goals.
