Job summary

PBI-Gordon Companies is seeking a Chemical Batching Technician I for the 2nd shift (12:00 PM–10:30 PM, Monday–Thursday). You will formulate liquid chemical products, unload materials, monitor quality, and follow safety protocols in a collaborative, employee-owned environment.

This role emphasizes hands-on batch filling, equipment operation, LOTO safety, forklift certification, and accurate material handling while supporting a culture of continuous improvement and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must work with minimal supervision.
• Able to lift 55 lbs.
• Must pass PPE and safety training.
• Able to work outdoors in elements.
• Strong communication with supervision and other operators.

Responsibilities

• Formulate liquid chemical products for packaging or bulk shipment.
• Unload and stage raw materials and read batch tickets to determine quantities.
• Operate valves, pumps, agitators, and other manufacturing equipment to complete batch fills and transfers.
• Follow safety protocols including LOTO and proper ergonomic techniques.
• Maintain a clean work area and comply with environmental standards.
