Job summary

Oatey is seeking a 2nd Shift Chemical Mixer II in Cleveland, OH. The role involves preparing batch mixes per established formulations while ensuring safety, quality, and production targets daily.

You will operate mixing and testing equipment, gather raw materials, document batch records, and participate in Lean/6S initiatives. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or equivalent) and optionally college experience in math or science, with a strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend work orders, charge sheets and PPE requirements.
• Safety-oriented mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Completes mixing tasks on a rotational basis as assigned by supervisor.
• Set up and adjust equipment, gather raw materials for each batch.
• Maintain and document batch records and data entry.
• Participate in LEAN activities and 6S standards in the department.
• Back-up production line positions as needed.
