Avery Dennison is seeking a Chemical Technician II in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania. The role involves supporting operations by staging and moving materials, performing production support tasks such as labeling and packaging, and adhering to safety procedures. The position requires a high school diploma or related experience, and candidates must demonstrate a strong service focus and flexibility.
Working hours are 2nd Shift, from 2:45 PM – 11:00 PM, with expectations for reliability and teamwork. Preferred candidates will have forklift experience and a background in chemical manufacturing.
The Chemical Technician II is responsible for supporting operations by staging and moving manufacturing materials around the site via forklift, pallet jack, or hand. The role performs production floor support activities such as stocking materials, obtaining samples, changing filters, labeling and packaging finished materials, preparing tanks to receive production batches, performing compounding/transferring operations, and loading/unloading bulk materials. Housekeeping tasks are also performed. The position works under the direction and supervision of more experienced operations team members and will work 2nd Shift, 2:45 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
