Job summary

Fraza & Vitan Equipment is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy‑duty material handling equipment. This is a fast‑paced, field‑based role where you’ll diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep customer operations moving.

You’ll travel to customer sites with a take‑home service truck, earn $21–$36 per hour based on experience, and receive a sign‑on bonus. Full benefits, PTO, and retirement plan available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, and diesel)
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the company truck
• Strong diagnostic instincts and safety-first mindset on the job

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime
• Hit the road to various customer sites—every day brings a different machine and a new challenge
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards
• Log your service work accurately and communicate clearly with the branch dispatch team
