Job summary

Fraza is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician for field-based troubleshooting and repair of heavy-duty equipment across Michigan. You’ll diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, perform preventive maintenance, and minimize customer downtime by providing rapid on-site service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on forklift/heavy equipment repair (electric, propane, diesel).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for company truck.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
• Travel to customer sites daily to service various machines.
• Ensure equipment safety and compliance with standards.
• Log service work accurately and communicate with dispatch.

This is a fast-paced, field-based position where you'll use your diagnostic expertise across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep our customers' operations moving.

What you’ll do:

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime
• Hit the road to various customer sites—every day brings a different machine and a new challenge
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards
• Log your service work accurately and communicate clearly with the branch dispatch team

What you’ll need:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, and diesel)
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the company truck
