Job summary

Fraza & Vitan Equipment is a field-based leader in material handling equipment. The Forklift Technician will troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty forklifts across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, performing preventative maintenance and urgent repairs to minimize downtime for clients.

You’ll travel to customer sites daily, logging work and ensuring safety and compliance while communicating clearly with dispatch. A safety-first mindset and valid license are required for this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment.
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime
• Travel to various customer sites daily to service different machines
• Ensure equipment is safe, compliant, and up to standards
• Log service work accurately and communicate with branch dispatch team

• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime
• Hit the road to various customer sites—every day brings a different machine and a new challenge
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards
• Log your service work accurately and communicate clearly with the branch dispatch team

What you’ll need:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, and diesel)
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the company truck
