Job summary

Fraza & Vitan Equipment is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty material handling equipment. This field-based role requires diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep customers’ operations moving.

With 2+ years of hands-on experience, you will perform preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and travel daily to diverse customer sites. A valid driver’s license and a safety-first mindset are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, and diesel).
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the company truck.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime
• Hit the road to various customer sites—every day brings a different machine and a new challenge
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards
• Log your service work accurately and communicate clearly with the branch dispatch team

Fraza & Vitan Equipment is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty material handling equipment. This is a fast-paced, field-based position where you'll use your diagnostic expertise across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep our customers' operations moving.
