Fraza & Vitan Equipment is seeking a Forklift Technician to diagnose and repair heavy‑duty equipment across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. This field-based role travels to customer sites in Michigan, offering a fast-paced environment and opportunities to showcase diagnostic expertise.

You’ll perform preventative maintenance, handle emergency repairs, and log work while ensuring safety and compliance on each job.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, and diesel).
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the company truck.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime.
• Hit the road to various customer sites—every day brings a different machine and a new challenge.
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards.
• Log your service work accurately and communicate clearly with the branch dispatch team.
