Job summary

Fraza & Vitan Equipment is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty equipment in the field. You will work on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep customers' operations running smoothly.

This role involves traveling to customer sites daily, maintaining safety, and documenting service work for the dispatch team. A strong diagnostic mindset and at least 2 years of hands-on forklift experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, and diesel).
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record for the company truck.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime.
• Hit the road to various customer sites - every day brings a different machine and a new challenge.
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to standard.
• Log your service work accurately and communicate clearly with the branch dispatch team.

This is a fast-paced, field-based position where you'll use your diagnostic expertise across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep our customers' operations moving.
