Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Jackson, MS. The role offers first shift hours, weekly pay, and robust benefits. You will manage inbound products, operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, and ensure a safe, organized warehouse environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a clean driving record, and the ability to travel within the area up to 50% of the day. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a WMS is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record and personal vehicle; travel within area approximately 25-50% of the day.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word and Excel; able to use scanners and enter orders into a WMS.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; indoor and outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for the automated packing system during shift hours.
