Ryder is seeking a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Baton Rouge, LA to join a team focused on safety and efficiency. The role involves operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts, performing loading/unloading, picking, packing, and cycle counting across a dynamic warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Clean driving record and willingness to travel within the area ~25–50% of the day.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; able to use scanners and enter orders into a WMS system.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and operate both indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping and receiving.
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment as required.
• Conduct cycle counts and manage loading/unloading of trucks.
• Process day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Support maintenance of automated packing systems during production hours.
