Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Jacksonville, FL. This role involves handling inbound products, operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts, and entering orders into a WMS system. Shift is first, with weekly pay and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year related warehouse/power truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift license certified
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Able to work in a diverse environment
• Build professional relationships across all levels
• Very thorough and dependable
• Punctual with good attendance
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• High initiative and accuracy under pressure
• Lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Stand for long periods and follow safety methods

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Work within contract performance measurement guidelines
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging and loading/unloading
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, BOLs)
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing system during core production hours
• Perform other duties as assigned
