Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Shreveport, LA. The role offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and hands-on duties handling inbound parts, forklift operations, and order processing.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. A valid forklift license and experience with WMS systems are preferred, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to be a team player in a diverse environment
• Able to lift and push/pull up to 50 lbs
• Flexible schedule on various shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse tasks: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Meet contract performance guidelines
• Accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, loading/unloading trucks
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Support automated packing system maintenance during production shifts
• Perform other duties as assigned
