Job summary

Performance Food Group’s Performance Foodservice division is hiring a Forklift Operator, Non Formula, to move freight, load/unload, and stock inventory safely in a multi-temperature warehouse environment.

The role emphasizes operating material handling equipment, maintaining GMP and quality standards, and meeting productivity targets while adhering to safety policies and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry)
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
• Motorized pallet jack and/or forklift certified (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and places pallets with forklift or manually
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock according to next day's work orders
• Removes empty pallets and packaging to proper area
• Performs safety checks and reports unsafe conditions
• Secures equipment and completes paperwork at end of shift
