Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to pass internal forklift certification, and comfort working in dusty or variable temperatures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 months forklift experience or experience with warehouse distribution equipment.
• Able to pass internal Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety procedures.
• Able to perform tasks in dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting the forklift before use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Loading and unloading materials and goods onto and off trucks, trailers, or storage areas using the forklift.
• Maintaining inventory records and reporting any discrepancies to management.
• Ensuring that the forklift is always operated in a safe and responsible manner.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Reporting any forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed.
