Job summary

Roadtex Transportation, now part of Echo Global Logistics, seeks a dependable forklift driver in Missouri to inspect, operate, and load/unload materials with accuracy in a busy warehouse setting.

You will maintain inventory records, keep the area tidy, and promptly report equipment issues while following safety procedures. A minimum of 3 months forklift experience and certification readiness are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to successfully pass internal Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety procedures.
• Able to perform job tasks in sometimes dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting the forklift before use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Loading and unloading materials and goods onto and off trucks, trailers, or storage areas using the forklift.
• Maintaining inventory records and reporting any discrepancies to management.
• Ensuring that the forklift is always operated in a safe and responsible manner
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Reporting any forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management
• Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed
