Job summary

Packaged Produce Solutions LLC is hiring a Forklift Operator to move products between production and warehouse areas, manage inventory, and support order fulfillment. You will work in temperatures ranging from 34°F to over 100°F, handling raw materials, WIP, packaging supplies, and finished goods.

The role requires experience with pallet jacks, ERP/WMS systems, and strict adherence to GMP and food safety standards. Certification and safety training are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable warehouse operations experience.
• Solid understanding of inventory management principles.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and planning abilities.
• Physical stamina to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Experience operating electric pallet jacks is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely receive and unload deliveries using forklift and pallet jacks.
• Inspect delivered items and complete receiving forms.
• Use the ERP system to record transactions.
• Store raw products, packaging items, and materials in cold and dry storage.
• Perform cycle counts and participate in monthly inventories.
• Follow FIFO and allergen control for food safety.
• Process, package, and load orders for shipping when needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas per GMP and safety rules.
• Inspect products for defects and damages; inspect both incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Conduct pallet repairs with tools as needed; clear ice from pallets occasionally.
• Collaborate with QA and other departments to uphold standards.
• Learn warehouse racking/location systems and execute pick/put-away tasks.
• Perform twice-daily inspections of pallet jacks and document issues; certification required.
• Contribute ideas to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.
