The Forklift Operator at Packaged Produce Solutions (PPS) plays a critical role in our food manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for safely transporting products of various forms, sizes, and shapes between the production floor and warehouse areas. Duties include maintaining accurate inventory records, handling pick tickets and ensuring smooth material flow. Due to the environmental range—34°F inside coolers to over 100°F outdoors or dry storage—appropriate PPE is mandatory.
Daily tasks involve using barcode scanners, tablets, laptops, manual and electric pallet jacks, temperature measurement devices, and other warehouse equipment. Training will be provided for equipment and the inventory management portion of our ERP system. Adherence to GMP, OSHA, and food safety standards is crucial.
