LM Manufacturing in Detroit, MI is seeking a HILO Driver (Sit-Down and Stand-Up) to move and store production parts and ensure the production line has the right parts when needed. This hourly, non-exempt role reports to the Production Supervisor/Team Leader and requires operating a forklift and Tugger with care and accuracy.

Qualified candidates will have 2–3 years forklift experience and hold a Powered Industrial Truck Permit.

Qualificações

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented; communicates well with others and is able to interact with people at all levels and departments.
• Detail-oriented with good documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently under general supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment (i.e., forklift truck).

Responsabilidades

• Move parts on the plant floor and in the shipping/receiving area through the operation of a forklift truck.
• Supply parts to assembly stations and sequencing lanes in a timely manner.
• Load and unload parts from trucks.
• Maintain stock in an organized fashion (FIFO).
• Train employees when needed.
• Assist with monthly physical inventories and daily cycle counts.
