Job summary

Magna Powertrain is seeking a dependable Hi-lo driver to support production lines by supplying parts and materials, weighing and labeling containers, and ensuring accurate handling of nonconforming products. You will perform daily safety checks and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and production teams to minimize downtime.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to MIOSHA rules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment on site in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Hi-lo driver in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge and compliance with safety procedures and MIOSHA rules.

Responsibilities

• Keep presses and work centers supplied with containers, parts and material.
• Ensure proper identification and weight/count of containers before processing.
• Label and track nonconforming products with part numbers and defects.
• Operate Hi-lo safely and complete daily safety checks; notify maintenance if issues arise.
• Support scrap handling and weight certification of scrap containers.
• Assist in maintaining ISO/EMS documentation and following environmental policies.
