Job summary

Prestage Foods, Inc. seeks a reliable forklift operator to manage movement of product and trailers across the plant floor, dock, and cold storage. You will follow safety-first practices, perform pre-start checks, and ensure accurate paperwork for shipments.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and forklift/motorized equipment experience. CDL/truck-related duties are a plus, with opportunities for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating forklift or motorized equipment.
• Knowledge of GMP and USDA guidelines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and move product, supplies, and trailers safely.
• Inspect containers and perform lift-truck checklists at start and end of shifts.
• Maintain accurate load documentation and delivery paperwork.
• Ensure clean and organized storage areas and equipment.
• Cross-train coworkers and assist with training new staff.
