Job summary

Pure Hothouse Foods LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate industrial equipment and support the supply chain by loading trucks and documenting shipments. The role requires a strong attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to GMP and safety standards.

Responsibilities include staging, counting, and moving product, inspecting shipments, and communicating issues to the Shipping Supervisor. Candidates should have at least two years of forklift experience and be able to work in a

Qualifications

Secondary School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum two years forklift experience required; Forklift Certification preferred.
Knowledge of GMP, Health & Safety, Food Safety preferred.
Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Proficient in English communication; oral, written and reading.
Steel-toed shoes are required.
Hours of work may vary; flexibility required.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Operate forklift to stage, count, sort, wrap finished product and move shipments.
Examine shipment contents and verify against records before loading to trucks.
Communicate quality issues, damages or shortages to Shipping Supervisor.
Maintain a clean work area and remove pallets and debris.
Perform daily forklift inspections and report any damages or issues.
Follow SOPs, GMPs, Food Safety, Health and Safety policies.
