Job summary

DelGrosso Foods, Inc. is seeking a forklift operator for the shipping/receiving area. The position requires 2–5 years of forklift experience and fork truck certification (preferred; must obtain/maintain).

You will operate the forklift and palletizer, load and unload trucks, maintain inventory, and keep a clean, safe work area in a non‑air conditioned facility. Shifts are long (10+ hours), Monday–Friday with 5 or 6 am starts and Saturdays required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of forklift experience.
• Fork truck certification preferred; must obtain/maintain fork truck certification.
• Effective communication and teamwork with employees, supervisors, and drivers.
• Ability to operate a computer and pay attention to details.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a non‑air conditioned facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to transport items in shipping/receiving.
• Operate palletizer and other warehouse machinery.
• Load and unload trucks/rail cars; manage inventory levels.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety/sanitation guidelines.
• Support warehouse staff as needed and adhere to company policies.
