Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down/stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks in a cold storage environment.

You will load/unload, stock, pick orders, inspect freight for accuracy, and keep a clean, organized workspace. GED or high school diploma and 3 months related experience preferred; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to meet production standards while keeping a clean, orderly workspace.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely with proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise; pick and pack orders for shipment.
• Operate equipment per OSHA standards and safety guidelines.
• Maintain production pace while ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with inventory and other duties as assigned.
