Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, and RF scanning. The role requires operating multiple equipment types while maintaining accuracy and safety in a cold environment.

Responsibilities include loading, unloading, stacking, picking orders, and inspecting freight for damage or infestation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, and label, wrap, pack, and repack as directed.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely and in compliance with OSHA standards to meet production goals.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment while meeting production standards.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
