Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stacking, picking orders, labeling, packing, and maintaining safety and accuracy at all times.

Candidates should be able to meet production targets in a controlled environment and comply with OSHA standards. High school diploma or GED preferred; 3 months of related experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using forklifts and equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise; pick, label, wrap, pack and repack orders as directed.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely following OSHA standards.
• Meet production targets while keeping a clean, organized workspace.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, and battery changes as needed.
