Job summary

PARR is the total source for homebuilding supplies, solutions, and services. The Forklift Operator plays a critical role in safely loading truss packs for drivers, supporting our Legendary Service through teamwork.

You will work outdoors on-site, report to the Production Manager, and cooperate with yard staff, customer service, and drivers. The job emphasizes accuracy, safety, and readiness to adapt to shift needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• OSHA forklift certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and invoices.
• English language literacy required.
• Knowledge of dimension lumber and panel products helpful.

Responsibilities

• Builds safe, efficient loads by reading load sheets and invoices.
• Loads trucks per delivery schedule and local/state laws.
• Checks paperwork for accuracy and completes loads.
• Operates forklift to load/offload building materials.
• Reports quality issues to management.
• Puts stock away and keeps yard organized.
• Performs daily safety checks and wears safety gear.
