Job summary

PARR is the total source for homebuilding supplies, solutions, and services in Washington. The Load Builder earns $23.25–$27.95 per hour and supports safe, efficient loading of materials for drivers. The role involves receiving and stocking inventory and assisting customer service as needed.

The position primarily works outdoors in all weather. OSHA forklift certification and knowledge of loads, orders, and safety procedures are required to ensure Legendary Service through teamwork.

Qualifications

• OSHA Certified Forklift License required.
• Knowledge of receiving/inventory control principles and procedures.
• Knowledge of dimension lumber, panels, and other building materials.
• Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and invoices.
• Attention to detail in a busy yard environment.

Responsibilities

• Builds safe and efficient loads of building materials by correctly reading pick tickets and invoices.
• Reads SKUs and identifies material types to accurately build loads.
• Load and off-load company trucks with building materials both by hand and with a forklift.
• Completes inventory adjustments.
• Puts stock away.
• Receives delivered inventory and inspects paperwork for accuracy.
