Job summary

PARR is seeking a Load Builder in Oregon to safely assemble building-material loads for drivers. You will read pick tickets and SKUs, then load and unload trucks with a forklift, while maintaining inventory accuracy and yard organization.

This role supports customer service and dispatch, collaborates with the team, and helps ensure on-time deliveries. PARR values safety and Legendary Service through Teamwork.

Qualifications

• OSHA Certified Forklift License.
• Knowledge of receiving and inventory control principles and practices.
• Knowledge of dimension lumber, panel products and building materials.
• Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and invoices.
• Ability to concentrate and attend to detail in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Builds safe and efficient loads by reading pick tickets and invoices.
• Reads SKUs and identifies material types to build loads accurately.
• Load and off-load trucks with forklift and manual handling.
• Completes inventory adjustments and puts stock away.
• Tags loads and ensures proper paperwork is completed.
• Receives delivered inventory and inspects paperwork for accuracy.
• Keeps yard clean and maintains safe operating conditions.
• Cross trains as backup driver, receiver, counter sales, and dispatcher.
