Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator in Carthage, MO to safely receipt, store, and ship food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanners and pallet jacks. You will work under supervision, meet production standards, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.

EOE/AA M/F/D/V. The role requires attention to safety, ability to work overtime, and willingness to operate in varying temperatures and heights. Previous forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage throughout facility.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, while labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as directed.
• Operate equipment in a manner that promotes safety and complies with OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
