Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator II to move, locate, and stack merchandise in a busy California warehouse. You will operate multiple forklift types, support order picking, and ensure safety and accuracy in daily inventory tasks.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass NFI forklift certification. A robust benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred 2+ years forklift operation experience.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies.

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Completes pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stacks and stores merchandise in designated rack locations.
• Unloads inbound shipments and transports product to storage areas.
• Pulls, stages, and prepares products for outbound shipment.
• Verifies correct quantity and product type before loading.
• Performs order picking in an accurate, timely manner.
• Uses RF scanning devices to support inventory accuracy.
