Job summary

ALPLA Bowling Green is seeking a warehouse associate to ensure on-time shipping, prepare finished goods, and maintain orderly storage and safety in the facility. You will follow procedures, check quality, and document product movement.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to ALPLA's standards in a growing packaging operation. Eligible candidates bring a high school diploma, basic warehousing experience, and comfort with forklift operations.

What Will You Enjoy Doing

• Part of customer service to ensure shipping on time
• Preparing finished product to ship to customer
  • Adheres to performance standards in quality and quantity (Checking fordamages as well as count)
• Following warehouse and shipping procedures
  • Accurately records and stores finished goods in the warehouse
  • Accurately handles and records all corrugated products from receipt tostorage and then to production
• Ensures good housekeeping within the warehouse
• Ensure adherence to all safety practice like but not limited to:
  • Forklift and dock doors safety check lists.
  • Ensure usage of proper PPE
  • Communicate any unsafe conditions or behavior.
  • Adherence to golden safety rules.

Performance Measurements:

• Number of Accidents, Near Misses, Observations of unsafe conditions/behaviors.
• Inventory Accuracy.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in general warehousing, manufacturing or distribution preferred
• Experience with Fork Lift/Clamp Truck machinery preferred
• Safety awareness and quality consciousness
