Job summary

ALPLA Bowling Green 2 Plant in Bowling Green, KY is hiring a Material Handler. The role supports material flow, inventory accuracy, and efficient operations at our manufacturing site.

You will work closely with maintenance and production teams to ensure timely material availability and proper handling processes. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, is able to lift up to 50 pounds, and can operate a forklift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience as a Material Handler is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures material availability and accurate inventory.
• Stores delivered materials in the correct location, including labeling.
• Maintains a correct and accurate inventory as required.
• Minimizes regrind waste and records it.
• Returns regrind to machines as soon as possible.
• Follows procedures during color changes.
• Returns unused materials to the correct area.
• Keeps regrind room and label room clean.
• Assists Maintenance and Mold Change Team.

WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING

• Ensures material availability and accurate inventory
  
• Ensures delivered materials are stored in the correct location, including
  labels.
• Ensures a correct and accurate inventory is taken, as requested
• Ensures regrind waste is kept to a minimum and that any waste is
  recorded
  
• Ensures any regrind that can be returned to the machines is returned as
  soon as possible
• Ensures all correct procedures are followed during a color change
• Ensures materials no longer being used are returned to the correct area
• Ensures cleanliness of regrind room, label room and mezzanine
• Assists Maintenance and Mold Change Team

What Makes You Great

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Experience as Material Handler preferred

Qualification/Skills:

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to operate Forklifts
