Job summary

Performance Food Group, a broadline distributor, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our Glen Allen, VA warehouse. You will move freight, stock storage slots, and support daily distribution operations in a multi-temperature environment.

Operate forklifts and pallet jacks, follow safety policies, and complete required paperwork to maintain accurate inventory. Enjoy benefits on day one and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution experience preferred.
• Able to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift or pallet jack to move freight and stock to designated slots.
• Count/check incoming freight and transport to appropriate areas.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock according to work orders.
• Maintain safety, GMP, and quality standards in daily operations.
• Perform routine equipment checks and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
