Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator in Fort Worth, TX to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach lifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. You will load/unload, stack, pick, and inspect shipments for damage, while labeling and packing as directed.

The role requires adherence to safety guidelines and a commitment to accuracy in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with safety as priority.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment.
• Stack, store, pick, and assemble orders; check freight for damage/infestation.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards and maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist with inventory and battery changes as needed.
