Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator in Benson, NC to ensure safe receipt, storage and shipment of food products using sit-down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach lifts, pallet jacks and RF scanners.

Under general supervision, you will load/unload freight, stack and pick orders, check for damage, and maintain a clean, safe workplace while adhering to OSHA standards. HS diploma preferred and 3 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to work overtime, evenings, or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using forklifts.
• Stock and organize merchandise for storage and shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and meet production standards.
• Perform inventory and forklift battery changes as needed.
