Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, pallet jacks and RF scanners within a temperature-controlled facility.

You will load/unload freight, stack and store merchandise, verify accuracy and labeling, and help maintain a clean, organized workspace. OSHA safety standards apply and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.
• Must meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Overtime, evenings, or weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy and damage.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and meet production targets.
• Perform other duties such as inventory and battery changes as needed.
